ourFrankfurt by Watu Collective is a project about and for people of all ages and from all backgrounds living in Frankfurt who shared their personal perceptions of the city. A place brimming with experiences, Frankfurt has a variety of ways it is seen, felt, and perceived. Through questionnaires, Watu Collective compiled a collection of Frankfurters’ favourite spots to find a communal understanding of the city’s facets and how they correlate with people’s lives. Collective member Jordan Awori converted these ‘favourite spots’ into art pieces made accessible through QR codes all across the city.

ourFrankfurt von Watu Collective ist ein Projekt über und für Frankfurter*innen jeden Alters und jeder Herkunft. Frankfurt ist ein Ort voller Erfahrungen, der auf unterschiedliche Weise gesehen, empfunden und wahrgenommen wird. Wir haben Frankfurter*innen gebeten, ihre persönliche Wahrnehmung der Stadt mit uns zu teilen. Mithilfe von Fragebögen ist eine Sammlung von Lieblingsorten entstanden, die ein gemeinsames Verständnis für die Facetten der Stadt abbilden und zeigen, wie sie mit dem Leben der Menschen zusammenhängen. Kollektivmitglied Jordan Awori hat diese Lieblingsorte in Kunstwerke umgewandelt, die über QR-Codes überall in der Stadt zugänglich sind.
