How did you discover it?: Through my bandmate Fabian. He was rehearsing there with another band. Then a space became available and we moved there

How often do you visit it?: Approx. once a week

What do you like doing there?: I like playing drums there. I also enjoy the time with my two bandmates. We listen to music, talk, and make music together

Why do you love this spot? What makes it special to you?: I like the isolation that this place exudes. It is a place of creativity. There is no WiFi reception, no interference from outside. My time there is a fixed part of my life. I like being in this safe space with my two bank colleagues and friends. I also like being there alone and playing the drums and practicing just for myself. It has something therapeutic and meditative. It is also very convenient that there is an Aldi next door and a very nice pizza place (Piccolo). I think it’s nice that a music bunker like this still exists in Frankfurt and I think we have to fight to preserve and create new creative spaces like this in the city.

Wie hast Du ihn entdeckt?: Durch meinen Bandkollegen Fabian. Er hat dort mit einer anderen Band geprobt. Dann wurde ein Platz frei und wir sind dort eingezogen.

Wie oft besuchst Du Deinen Lieblingsort?: Ca. 1 x in der Woche.

Was machst Du dort gerne?: Ich spiele dort gerne Schlagzeug. Auch genieße ich die Zeit zu dritt mit meinen beiden Bandkollegen. Wir hören Musik, unterhalten uns und machen gemeinsam Musik

Warum liebst Du diesen Ort? Was macht ihn für Dich so besonders?: Ich mag die Abgeschiedenheit, die dieser Ort ausstrahlt. Es ist ein Ort der Kreativität. Es gibt dort keinen WLAN Empfang, keine Störung von außen. Die Zeit dort hat einen festen Platz in meinem Leben. Ich mag es, in diesem geschützten Raum zusammen mit meinen beiden Bankollegen und Freunden zu sein. Ich mag es auch, dort allein zu sein und nur für mich Schlagzeug zu spielen und zu üben. Das hat was therapeutisches, meditatives. Außerdem ist es sehr praktisch, dass nebenan direkt ein Aldi ist und eine sehr nette Pizzeria (Piccolo). Ich finde es schön, dass es noch so einen Musikbunker in Frankfurt gibt und finde, dass man für den Erhalt und die Neuschaffung solcher Kreativräume im Stadtgebiet kämpfen muss.
